Our Approaches
We work to help young students discover their passion and aptitude for Science and Engineering as early as possible and get on a path towards a career in Science and Engineering from a very young age.
We do this by providing unique hands-on project experiences, both inside and outside of class, where students solve real-world problems, and by serving as the Launchpad for the next generation of Elementary School Teachers who are capable to teach science and engineering.
Our three-pronged approach is outlined below.
Hands-on Demonstrations: We collaborate with current Elementary School Teachers to create unique hands-on demonstrations that get students in the classroom EXCITED about science and engineering - to eliminate that “FEAR” of science and engineering being hard!
Authentic Engineering Experience Projects: We engage Elementary to College-age students in hands-on “Authentic Engineering Experience” projects where individual students, or small groups of 2-4 students, solve real-world problems.
Financial Scholarships: We provide financial scholarships to support the education of College Students who are pursuing a career to become Elementary School Teachers and also have an aptitude for teaching science and engineering. These scholarships will increase the number of science-capable teachers who can inspire and educate our youngest students in science and engineering on a daily basis!
